Head of Project Engineering Department, IIG Belgium
“Good morning everybody!”
I have a quick look at my new emails, because the morning meeting to discuss the operational projects in Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic and all of the other countries in which we are active, starts first thing.
All the members of the team are present, so we can start with the first project.
Serious discussions about the status, financials and timing, although there are a few jokes thrown in as well.
With all the meetings, you could starve! Luckily, a fresh, hot meal is served every day.
This is a nice occasion to have a chat with some colleagues from other departments and countries.
After our meal, we hear that a new Letter Of Intent (LOI) has been signed with a prospective client. Great!
No time to waste … a new project team has to start. A call is set up with our colleagues in the country local to the project to organise the technical due diligence activities, to exchange the latest information and to arrange a local kick-off meeting.
Just enough time left to collect my documents before going to the airport … another project is waiting for me.
As I leave the office, the big IIG-logo on the wall keeps shining!
