05.40 arrive at Zaventem airport, Brussels, and check in for my 7.00 flight to Vienna. I have breakfast and then it’s off to the gate.
08.50 land at Vienna airport and make a call to our driver, who takes me to the Immo Industry Slovakia office in Bratislava.
09.45 arrive at the office in Bratislava, greet all the employees in the office and have a little chat with them.
10.10 I go to the office of the general manager of Slovakia, to have a meeting about the ongoing and forthcoming projects.
11.00 after reading and answering my emails, I take a drive with the two Project Engineers for IIG-J&T Industrial Park DNV to see the progress of the three projects that are under construction on this park. We have a brief meeting with our client representative from Garay about his further extensions.
13.00 lunch with some of my colleagues from the office in the neighbourhood; we have a typical Slovak lunch.
14.00 I call another of our Slovakian Project Engineers and we meet at IIG-J&T Industrial Park Trnava to oversee the progress of the projects there.
15.00 arrive at Trnava and inspect the three projects under construction.
17.00 back in the Bratislava office for an engineering meeting about the Vistion Ilava project, and I request the papers I need to process.
18.00 I make my appointments for tomorrow with J&T, our joint venture partner in Slovakia, and the notary, answer the last of my emails and switch off my laptop. I go to my apartment 200 meters from the office to take a shower and go for diner.
